I actually found myself keep asking this question several times when I realize the artwork of an artist from her/his style. I have to admit that it used to annoy me. Why would an artist always repeat the same lightning, same colors, same line roughness? When you look at the artworks in overall, you seek for innovation, yet they are all similar and this repetition bores the viewer (for me). No dynamism, no creativity at all... Didn't we learn that art is a way to express emotions, opinions and imagination? Do they (opinions, emotions, dreams) really have the same amount of black tones? It`s been a while since my last entry. Also, I haven't been working on digital graphic design for about 1,5 year or so. Rather, I'm trying to finish the high school, prepare for the university exams and write several articles in various parts of media. In these days, everybody talks about Avatar. Some says it is a innovative film, both for its story & visual apperance, other says it is just a piece of clone. However for 3d artists, one thing is sure: The film is worth watching just for visual effects. C'mon man, nearly 700 people worked on it. While I can't imagine a team of 700 together, these people can work in coordination. Only that deserves a Oscar, I think. And, in my opinion, that's the main point of the film.
